You MUST be!
As per my previous journal entries... it has been stated that I am now back in the game, because I have free time and my computer is up and running! Well... guess what? That's right, my stupid computer is on the fritz again! I just need to fork out the money for a new graphics card and that might do it. *sigh*
At least this is a small problem, it can be fixed pretty easily.
Hudson
This is my first official acknowledgement of my soon-to-be web comic (of printed comic standards)...
Hudson!
I will release it after I fix my computer... again...
For anyone who is interested... here is a biographical preface:
The plot is of a non-generic type, or at least I hope it turns out that way. I say this, because the plot centers on...
Zombies!... and as everyone knows, zombies are a pretty non-lenient topic. However, the story is not necessarily going to feature "zombies" as we know them, but something you find out pretty early on is much different, and into the 2nd issue, these "zombies" are not going to really be like traditional zombies anymore, but more like generic mutant creatures... as the plot progresses things get really different. The plot itself starts off in reality (my reality at least) and soon turns FAR from it.
The plot originates from a small chat with my friend, Hudson. James Hudson. (lol, movie joke!)
James is an avid video game player, and is fanatical over anything involving the world's many militaries, or weapons. That is, not to say that he is a violent person. In fact, he is quite the opposite (although he pretends to be hard-core... He can't fool me

). I guess everyone has their own interests. Anyway, he was playing Left 4 Dead on his XBox 360 (blah) and I came walking in. I watched the game for a while and stated, "Heh, I'm glad this wouldn't happen for real." James, being his "bad" self replied "What? A zombie attack? Man, that would be great! I'd steal some guns and go live out in the woods and... blah, blah, blah." Of course I was trying to tell him why he would be the first person ON THE EARTH to die from a zombie attack, but whatever. At that time, I was trying to come up with a good topic for an art series, and I really wanted to start comic art. I decided to make a story (short apparently) about how James would get his butt kicked, and then eaten if there really was a zombie outbreak. I then realized that... well, that wasn't a very good plot. After all, I was planning on putting it on the web, and I don't think people would like me putting a bunch of pics of my friend getting "'nomed" by a bunch of deformed cannibals; and so, Hudson was born! The story will center around the alternate reality of my friend James, and myself surviving within the infected South. The story will center around my own ordeals, and later on, and for the rest of the series, the focus will switch to the exploits of James. I will be cut out of the story through means I do not wish to disclose right now, but will return in an unexpected way in the final issue.
The issues will be thick (if printed) and written as a Western graphic novel / Marvel comic mix. I'm thinking 8 total, as well as a few flash games (currently in progress) and all issues animated into video. If the series is printed, the issues bought and shipped from my online store will contain bonus material, and the video series will contain several "extras."
I look forward to beginning this project, and I hope to get positive feedback.
I will be working in collaboration with James Hudson, and possibly my friend, Michael Sanders. (~

The series will be branded under my up and coming artists group, SquiddyDog.
SquiddyDog promotions and the official logo for Hudson will be disclosed with the unveiling of the series.
